L’Ormarins in Franschhoek is the home of a range of fine cuvées in various price categories. The history of the winery dates back to 1694 when Huguenot Jean Roi planted 4000 vines beneath the jagged peaks of the Groot Drakenstein Mountains. Anthonij Rupert are all top red wines in pure Bordeaux style, the Cape of Good Hope wines are made from some of the oldest South African vines, planted in the prime regions of Darling, Swartland and Elandskloof. Unique terroirs which give elegant and refined wines. Protea is an accessible wine range - both in price and quality - in white and red. Jean Roi is a classy Provençial-style rosé.
