Oak Valley Wines

Oak Valley Estate is a family farm on the northern side of the Elgin Mountain basin, producing fruits, flowers and wine.

Elgin is statistically the coolest region in South Africa, which enables the grapes to ripen slowly, enhancing flavour development. During the hot summer days, the prevailing South Easterly winds has a moderating effect on daytime temperatures. 30 hectares are currently planted.
