Bouchard Finlayson

Peter Finlayson makes great wines in the cool region of Hermanus, near the Atlantic Ocean.

In the beginning of his career, he stayed in the French Burgundy region, and became more and more passionate about Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In Hermanus and more precisely in the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley he found the ideal location to build one of the most famous wine estates in South Africa in partnership with Paul Bouchard. Talented Chris Albrecht has been appointed as winemaker in the meantime. The backbone of their mission is Pinot Noir, 50% of this winery is planted with this grape.
