Enchanting aromas of raspberry and red fruits, with a touch of cedarwood. The sophisticated flavours of ripe plum, strawberry jam and baking spice are balanced by notes of chocolate and warm earth. Mouthfilling with long and silky tannins. Matured in a combination of French and Hungarian oak, only 10% new. Grapes sourced from Russian River, Sonoma Coast & Valley and Carneros - all part of California's distinctive North Coast appellation.

Food pairing:
Grilled ahi, delicate lamb.

About the winery:
Buena Vista Winery has a rich heritage as the first premium winery in California. And its founder, Agoston Haraszthy, was a pioneer with an unending commitment to California wine. He immigrated from Europe in 1840 and sought the perfect ‘terroir’ for exceptional wine. He ultimately settled in Sonoma, birthplace of California, where he founded Buena Vista Winery in 1857. He was a committed farmer, innovator and vintner. His beloved Buena Vista Winery today is committed to continue the imaginative vision and unrivaled legacy, with an exiting range of Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
