Avondale Cyclus 2013

Characteristics:
Cyclus refers to the spiral that can be found in every aspect of Nature and represents power and dynamism. Blend of 5 varietals: Viognier, Rousanne, Chenin, Chardonnay and Semillon. Naturally fermented (20% as whole bunches, which adds unique body and length) and kept on the lees for 12 months with regular battonage. Soft, rich nose of violets and peach, and a hint of frangipani. Intense flavours of pear, pineapple, apricot and fig, rounded off with smooth, subtle oak for a creamy, long-structured finish.

Food pairing:
Combine with smoked or grilled fish, pastas, oriental and spicy dishes.
