Characteristics:
Navitas means energy. The symbol on the label is Avondale's logo. It refers to an ancient astronomical instrument used to show the position of stars around the earth. From the minerals in the soil to the stars in the skies, all is combined in an energised, living system. Navitas is an exclusive & limited release, beautifully packed! Blend of 62% Syrah, 24% Mourvèdre and 14% Grenache. Elegantly-wooded wine, vibrant colour, rich nose of dark stewed fruits, cloves and cinnamon. Flavours of white pepper and plum arecombined with silky tannins and lively minerality.

Food pairing:
Serve with the best of red meat and stews. Top Cuvée!

About the winery:
Avondale is situated at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains in the picturesque Paarl Valley. Owner Johnathan Grieve is pioneering the way forward to sustainable viticulture. The grapes are biodynamically grown and the wines are all organically certified. 'Terra est vita' is their ethos. The result are naturally delicious wines!
