Organically farmed grapes from Stellenbosch. The wine was spontaneously fermented in a concrete egg, where it remained on its lees for 6 months. No malolactic fermentation. 2019 is the maiden vintage of this Albarino, which has intense aromatics of white peach and pink grapefruit. Packed with zesty acidity, the wine refreshes with its juicy nectarine flavors, backed by undercurrents of grapefruit pith, lemongrass and lime zest. Vegan friendly, limited production of 1859 bottles.
Serve with oysters, fresh crab, prawns or shrimps. With sushi or sashimi. Grilled fish like seabass, squid or sardines. Or pair with seafood pasta and risotto.
