A light and fresh style of dessert wine, made from Stellenbosch Viognier grapes, hand picked at optimal ripeness and laid out on racks to dry in the shade of an oak tree. After 2½ to 3 weeks, the partially raisined grapes were gently pressed, and the juice was naturally fermented in old French oak barrels. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was blended with previous vintages of Fire Lily to create a 4-vintage cuvée, comprised of 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 vintages. Luscious aromas of peach and citrus marmalade lead to vibrant stone fruit flavors, accented with delicate hints of jasmine and coriander seed. Limited production of 1000 bottles and vegan friendly.
Perfect partner for fresh fruit tarts, cheesecake or panna cotta.
