Bouchard Finlayson Galpin Peak Pinot Noir 2013

Succulent and harmonius, exuberant fruit aromas, combined with espresso oak-tones by wood ageing (10 months on 30% new French oak). Dried herbs. Graceful and soft tannins.

Food pairing:
Delicate and tender meats, cooked 'Rosé', like lamb, veal or goat, in natural and refined sauces.

About the winery:
Peter Finlayson makes great wines in the cool region of Hermanus, near the Atlantic Ocean. In the beginning of his career, he stayed in the French Burgundy region, and became more and more passionate about Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In Hermanus, in the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley he found the ideal location to build one of the most famous wine estates in South Africa in partnership with Paul Bouchard. Talented Chris Albrecht has been appointed as winemaker in the meantime.
