Wild Thing Rosé 2018

Characteristics:
Refreshingly crisp and dry rosé, blend of 62% Carignane, 36% Zinfandel and 2% Petite Sirah. Organically grow grapes from Mendocino Cox Vineyard. Juicy strawberry-watermelon aromas, nice minerality, notes of spring flowers and orange zeste.

Foodpairing:
Great food rosé, from sushi to salmon to BBQ. Perfect for a ‘rendezvous’ with friends!

About the winery:
Winemaker Carol Shelton has sought out exceptional vineyards throughout California including Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley and Mendocino. She develops close partnerships with each grower to ensure her wines maintain and express the unique terroir of the vineyard. Her Wild Thing label denotes that the wine is produced using the wild yeasts found on organically grown grapes.
