Game of Thrones Oregon Pinot Noir 2017

Characteristics:
Pinot Noir sourced from the cool Willamette Valley in northern Oregon, nestled between two mountain ranges and influenced by the Pacific Ocean. The wine aged 10 months on the fine lees, in a combination of 30% new French and 30% new American medium toasted oak. Elegant, well-built and bursting with brilliant, ripe, rich fruit flavors and aromas of cranberries and red cherries. Subtle tones of earthiness, vanilla, spice and toasted oak. There is a long, smooth inviting finish; tannins are present and well blended.

Food pairing:
Serve with fine cuts of white meat, veal, poultry or quail. Think of roast chicken or guineafowl, pigeon, rack of lamb served pink.Dishes with morels and other wild mushrooms ... and roast and grilled lobster!
