Haraszthy Family Cellars Bearitage Cabernet Sauvignon Lodi 2017

Crimson-deep ruby colour. Flavours of black cherry, chocolate and black pepper come together nicely. Medium bodied, well balanced, soft tannins. Terrific value for money.

Food pairing:
Pasta with red meat sauce. Grilled red meat and lamb.

About the winery:
In 1857, the Hungarian Agaston Haraszthy bought 225 ha of wine land in Sonoma. He planted it with 100,000 vines of 300 different varieties of European origin. It is one of the reasons why Sonoma became the epicenter of wine in California. The current owners and winemakers, Vallejo and Sean Haraszthy (4th generation!) are still a reference for quality Zinfandels from different regions.
