Combine with fish and seafood dishes, clams, mussels, flaky white fish, and salmon.

About the winery:

Hazendal is located in Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch, premium region for, among others, Pinotage. Bottelarij Hills has different slopes, undergoes the cool influences of False Bay in the south and the Atlantic Ocean in the west: an ideal recipe for a range of microclimates. Height of the vineyards vary between 150 m and 400 m. Lady Winemaker is Clarisse Sciocatti-Langeveldt. The ‘Christoffel Hazenwinkel’ range is named after the first owner of the estate.
