Inglenook Cask 2011

Characteristics:
Subtle and round on the palate, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask offers fragrant notes of boysenberries, cherries, black currant and leather. Flavor intensity increases on the mid-palate with beautiful impressions of red fruits, spices, and coffee. This vintage bestows a supple texture with soft tannins and smooth, even transitions, giving it a particularly elegant style. Decant one hour in advance.

Food pairing:
Companion of the finest cuts of meat.

About the winery:
Francis Coppola bought the old Inglenook back in 1975, aiming to restore the grandeur of this historical château and to reunite the original vineyards. This was achieved in 2010. The passion of the film director and his wife are tangible everywhere. Winemaker is Philippe Bascaules, who worked at Château Margaux for many years and has the mission to create world class wines
