Le Bonheur Estate Chardonnay 2016

Characteristics:
Lime aroma with peach, apricot, clove and oak, creamy mouth-filling flavour with citrus peel, fresh acidity. 40% of the wine fermented in a combination of Allier and Nevers oak barrels.

Food pairing:
Excellent as an aperitif, goes well with exotic salads, fish and white meat preparations in light sauces.

About the winery:
Le Bonheur counts 65 ha vineyards, that are planted on the slope of the Klapmuts in the district of Stellenbosch. What historically was an inn for travelers, is now a leading wine estate making complex quality wines of international varieties on four different soil types: granite, malm, sand and clay.
