Bright ruby red with young pink edge, Satsuma plum with sweet aroma of cassis and spice. Juicy plum flavors with cherry and spicy woody notes result in a firm texture with elegant, ripe tannins. 64% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc en 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Matured 18 months on 300 liter barrels, new and used. Maturation potential of 10 years.

About the winery:
Le Bonheur counts 65 ha vineyards, that are planted on the slope of the Klapmuts in the district of Stellenbosch. What historically was an inn for travelers, is now a leading wine estate making complex quality wines of international varieties on four different soil types: granite, malm, sand and clay.
