Ondine Cabernet Franc 2013

Young black huckleberries, herbs and tobacco, subtle toasty aftertaste.Can be cellared for 5 years and more.

Food pairing:
Try with red meat, preferably beef. Also with slowly simmered French Coq au vin.

About the winery:
Ondine wines are made on Ormonde, located in Darling, near the Atlantic Ocean. The grapes can ripen slowly because of the cooling effect of the Atlantic sea breezes. The strongest winds are stopped by a slight slope close to the sea and thus young plants and blossoms are protected. The vineyards are not irrigated, and the grapes are still picked by hand.
