Characteristics:

Blend of 96% Zinfandel and 4% Barbera. Soft wine with aromas of dried cherries, walnuts, violets and flavours of strawberries, sweet plum, molasses, sandalwood & cinnamon

Food pairing:
Food friendly and well balanced. Goes well with lamb, burgers and red meats. Winemaker's suggestion: "Enjoy with mom's old school meatloaf with a side of roasted potatoes and glazed carrots!"

About the winery:
Plungerhead is made in the heart of Sonoma, by the third generation of the Sebastiani family. Grandfather Sebastiani was a volunteer firefighter, who earned three badges during his service, hence the producing name 3 Badge Enology. Backbone of this Plungerhead are Zinfandel grapes from Lodi. The wine has a Zork closure.
