Dry rosé with a pale blush-pink colour. Gentle aromas of nectarine and lemon zest. Tangy entry to the mouth with vivid lemon and citrus zest flavour. Juicy succulence with more stonefruit apparent, along with light fruity hints of plum and red cherry. A lively, vibrant mouthful which finishes nicely dry. Blend of 52% Mourvèdre, 35% Cinsault, 7% Grenache and 6% Shiraz sourced from Darling & Swartland.
Attractive as an aperitif, or serve with light salads, light pasta and rice dishes, especially with seafood, shellfish and grilled fish and goats’ cheeses. Delicious with salade niçoise and paella. Perfect for BBQ or hot weather drinking.

Protea wines are handcrafted at L’Ormarins Wine Estate in Franschhoek. History goes back to 1694 when Huguenot Jean Roi planted 4000 vines beneath the jagged peaks of the Groot Drakenstein Mountains. The range is named after the Protea flower which is so distinctive of the rich Cape Floristic region. The wines are fresh and clean, have an appealing style and are packed in an innovative and re-usable bottle.
