Ruby in colour with notes of blackberry, blueberry, roasted coffee beans, coriander and a hint of nutmeg. Smooth upon entry, this wine is broad and plush on the mid-palate. It has an elegant density throughout and a long, generous finish. 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, with a splash of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Given proper cellaring conditions, this wine will show beautifully through 2041.
Combine with red meat: beef, lamb, venison, accompanied by flavourful sauces. Can be enjoyed on its own as a meditation wine.

Super premium Cabernet Sauvignon! Raymond Twomey Duncan, a Colorado entrepreneur, invested in California vineyards in 1960. Together with wine maker Justin Meyer, he made his "maiden vintage" in a barn in the Napa Valley in 1972, producing only 1,100 crates.
