Characteristics:
Dark purple colour with aromas of ripe black fruit, ripe fruity taste with black cherry, chocolate and mocha, fine concentration and great balance, long succulent finish. Cool year with fine structure!

Enjoy with raw marinated and delicately fried pink meat in natural gravy.

About the winery:
North of Paarl, on the way to Wellington, former professional golfer Marcel van der Walt makes some of the best wines of the Cape, since 1988. The family resides in the Cape since 1727 and originates from Veenwouden in Friesland. All wines represent pure class, cultural sophistication and have an exceptional ageing potential.
