Avondale

Avondale is situated at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains in the picturesque Paarl Valley.

Owner Johnathan Grieve is pioneering the way forward to sustainable viticulture, with an absolute devotion and respect for Mother Nature. The grapes are biodynamically grown and the wines are all organically certified. Natural yeasts are used and traditional vinification is applied with a minimum of intervention in the cellar. 'Terra est vita' is their ethos. The result are naturally delicious wines!
