Francis Coppola purchased the old Inglenook in 1975 with the aim of restoring the historic château in its original form, reuniting the vineyards, and create world-class wines.

The winery itself has become a stylish feast for the eyes, it is beautifully restored and hospitality a high priority. The current winemaker Philippe Bascaules previously worked at Château Margaux for many years. The Inglenook Rubicon is the top wine ... since 1978!
