This policy (together with our Terms & Conditions) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. By visiting www.rouseu.be/en (“our site”) you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

If you sign up with us we take great care to keep your information safe and we’ll never share it with anyone. We don’t store any information about you personally unless you give us permission to have that information, or we’ve gathered it ourselves for direct marketing purposes from publicly available sources (like for instance your website). 
You can ask us what information we store about you  or ask us to delete any information we have about you at any time. We will need about two weeks to process such requests which you can do by filling in the form on our contact us page.


What we know about you from your visit to our website

  • We ask your consent any time we want to track personal information. Your unique cookie identifiers are considered personal information by law so we have by default stopped tracking those cookies when you visit our website. IP addresses are also considered to be personal information so we have by default modified this information so it is anonymous.

  • By giving us permission to follow you using cookies what you’re agreeing to is allowing us to monitor your web browser (I.E Chrome or Internet Explorer) moving between our web pages and logging the information to our Analytics system (Google Analytics) as an individual user. This shows us where you came from, what has been seen, how long you’ve been there and whether you signed up for additional information for instance. We don’t follow anything else.

  • We don’t pass any information anywhere for advertising purposes.


Shopify online shop & website

We use the Shopify service as the e-commerce platform behind our online shop and website. Shopify is a hosted solution protected by SSL encryption and used by over 100 000 businesses worldwide. More info about Shopify and it’s security can be found here.
Upon placing an order via our online shop your information is being stored in our Shopify database. As a registered user you can update your information via the My Account functionality at any time. You can ask us what information we store about you or ask us to delete any information we have about you at any time. We will need about two weeks to process such requests which you can do by submitting this form.


Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit some websites, which help to provide you with a more tailored experience whenever you visit the website. We use cookies on www.rouseu.be to make the website easier for you to use, and to help inform us on how to improve the website to make it easier for you to shop online and navigate our features. 

Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.

  • _session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).

  • _shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits

  • _shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.

  • cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.

  • _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional

  • storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
How do I manage cookies set by rouseu.be?

Emails

We may send you email notifications regarding your service (such as invoices) or which you have specifically requested (such as newsletters or notifications when an order is being handled) or email informing you about products and services. You have the ability to opt out of any of this communication at any time by sending us an email to info@rouseu.be. 

If you have opted in to Rouseu's newsletter or are a customer, we may combine information you have provided through registration, or communications with us, with analytics data from your device. We analyse this data with our other visitors so we are able to better understand how our visitors, customers and subscribers use Rouseu's website.

We will never provide your personal information or email address to any third parties except where they are specifically employed to help deliver our own services, as detailed above.

We use this service to store and manage e-mailmarketing data in a secure and password protected environment. We’re very confident of the security of this service that is trusted by over 200,000 companies worldwide.

Rouseu take many precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
