Characteristics:
Elegant and classic Valpolicella, full-bodied and harmonious, crafted from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. Aromas of cherries, black fruit, and a gentle spiciness. The wine matured for 18 months in tonneaux, adding subtle oak influence and refined smoothness. As a Superiore, it meets the stricter DOC requirements for higher quality and extended aging. Named in honor of the marriage between Agostino Vicentini and Teresa Bacco
Food Pairing:
With red meat, ossobuco, duck, or guinea fowl with mushrooms. Pasta al ragù or delicious with truffle dishes. With game: venison or wild boar. Also pairs beautifully with roasted peppers, aubergines, or aged cheeses such as Pecorino or Taleggio.
About this winery:
The Vicentini family has been producing wine for four generations in Colognola ai Colli, east of Verona. The estate comprises over twenty hectares within the Soave and Valpolicella appellations, planted with native grape varieties. With respect for nature and terroir and minimal intervention in the cellar, the winery aims to craft wines that reflect origin and craftsmanship.
