Mulderbosch Chardonnay 2021


Characteristics:
Grapes from the cool False Bay area. 20% of the wine was fermented on French oak, followed by 9 months of maturation. Floral notes, peach blossom and marzipan, linked to bright citrus aromatics. The result is a particularly elegant Chardonnay.

Food pairing:
Lovely wine for gastronomy: delicious with crispy salads, raw or poached vegetables, raw seafood. Elegant with raclette, emmental and gruyère. Combine with bouillabaisse, calamari, paella, tarbot or cod. Fresh with veal.

About the winery:
Mulderbosch, situated in the Stellenbosch Hills and is widely accepted as being one of the best wine producers in the country. Adam Mason is cellarmaster and shows his talents in fine whites and elegant red, with enormous respect for terroir. Mulderbosch aspires to be part of the top producers of Chenin Blanc wines.
