Allesverloren Fine Old Vintage Reserve 1997

Characteristics:
Tawny-coloured with raisins, coffee and mocha on the nose. Good follow-through. Prune and raisin infused with hints of vanilla and nuts abound. Made of Tinta Barocca, Souzao, Pontac, and a blend of Malvasia Rey, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Francisca & Touriga Nacional.

Enjoy this special Fine Old Vintage (port type) on its own, with a chocolate dessert or savour it with a fine cigar.

About the winery:
Allesverloren is the oldest estate in the Swartland Wine of Origin district. It is renowned for its red wines, highlighting Shiraz and Cabernet. The Allesverloren Fine Old Ruby is classic fortified wine in South Africa. Danie Malan is the current charismatic owner.
