Excellent on its own or served with salads & seafood. Nice dinner companion for those who prefer rosé all the way!
About the winery:
Alto has a famous and unique terroir, high on the slopes of the Helderberg, with the influence of the cool sea breeze coming from the west. In this environment, the grapes can ripen slowly, which gives beautiful aromas and nicely developed tastes. Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz feel unbelievably well in this region. The "Alto Rouge" has been an institutional wine since nearly five decades.
