Characteristics:
Elegant and classy Bordeaux blend, with 44% Cabernet Franc, 31% Petit Verdot and 25% Merlot. Aged for 16 months 300L French oak, 30% new. Aromas of mulberry, blackberry, cassis, with wet earth and stone notes. The palate shows ripe berries, plums and chocolate, glossed with vanilla. 10+ years ageing potential and vegan friendly.

About the winery:
Mulderbosch is located in Stellenboschkloof west of Stellenbosch and has been an established quality wine producer for many years. Cellar master Henry Kotzé translates the philosophy 'all respect for mother earth' into his cuvées. Extremely popular is the red Bordeaux blend Faithful Hound, Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc and Rosé are internationally very popular references. The tasting room is modern, cozy and inviting. The restaurant offers wood-fired pizzas that are simply the best in town!
