Agoston Haraszthy was elected Sheriff of San Diego in 1850, this wine is a personal tribute! Grapes are sourced from Sonoma County. Blend of 35% Petite Sirah, 27% Shiraz, 20% Cab, 9% Grenache, 3% Merlot, 3% Mission, 3% Alicante Bouschet. Dark inky red colour with fragrant aromas of blackberry, blueberry and currants with notes of violets. Medium-bodied with elegant texture and polished tannins. Dark fruit flavours with layered brambly herbs and a hint of dark chocolate. The finish is delicious and lingers.

Accompanies the best of roasted red meat, steak, chops and prime rib. 

About the winery:
Buena Vista Winery has a rich heritage as the first premium winery in California. And its founder, Agoston Haraszthy, was a pioneer with an unending commitment to California wine.
