Ernie Els winemaker Louis Strydom has been a valued member of the Cape Winemakers Guild for many years. Each year, the Guild organizes an auction with exceptional cuvées, available only through this auction in Stellenbosch. The proceeds go to the training of talented but disadvantaged student winemakers. Ernie Els has an excellent reputation for ultra-premium red wine. Winemaker Louis Strydom likes to blend excellent Cabernet grapes with, among others, Shiraz and Merlot.

This wine bears testimony of the unique terroir of the vineyards and reflects the qulaity and diversity of the region, Stellenbosch. It is elegantly crafted to create this distinctive, yet fine wine. Blend of 60% Cabernet, 30% Shiraz and 10% Merlot.
