Characteristics:
Crisp and bright with a tangy minarility. Very approachable wth aromas and flavours of lemon, tropical lime and green apples.
Food pairing:
A good companion to seafood and salads. Serve with shrimps, calamares, oysters and mussels. Simply lovely with a croque hawaï or a pasta with shelfish.
About the winery:
In 1857, the Hungarian Agaston Haraszthy bought 225 ha of wine land in Sonoma. He planted it with 100,000 vines of 300 different varieties of European origin. It is one of the reasons why Sonoma became the epicenter of wine in California. The current owners and winemakers, Vallejo and Sean Haraszthy (4th generation!) are still a reference for quality Zinfandels from different regions.

The bear and the berry on the label refer respectively to the California flag and the fruit in the wine!
