Neil Ellis Webb Ellis 2013

Characteristics:
Deep dense earthy red. Red and dark fruit aromas, notes of liquorice, black olives and cedar. The palate is seamless, sophisticated, rounded and stylish. Combining the
structure of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) with the richness of Syrah (30%), Webb Ellis exemplifies the judicious balance of fruit and oak. Petit Verdot of Jonkershoek was added. The tannins are nice and rounded with a rich mouth feel. A multi-dimensional wine. This classically structured, beautifully balanced wine has all the finesse and integrity to develop and evolve with careful cellaring. 2020-2033

Food pairing:
Enjoy with baked or grilled red meat or ground game, with spicy sauces.
