Medium-bodied, with fresh aromatics of dark berries. Long layered palate, with fine & chalky tannins and notes of clove and black pepper. Moderate wood maturation of 16 months on 5% new and used French oak (500 l) to maintain fruit integrity. Grapes sourced from Groenekloof near Darling.
Excellent with red meat: beef, lamb, venison, grilled or baked, accompanied by spicy sauces.
