Attractive bouquet of honeysuckle, white fruit, marzipan, hazelnut and flinty minerals. The pallet is harmonious and textural and finishes with beautifully balanced acidity, long and flavoursome mid pallet with rich texture. The grapes are whole bunch pressed, 100% barrel fermented and spend 9 months in 228l French oak barrels of which 33% is new. A high-class wine and a clear expression of the cool Elgin terroir.
Serve with salmon, fish, seafood and white meat, grilled or with butter or creamy sauces. Or cheeses: brie, comté, mozzarella and Swiss gruyère.
