Characteristics:
Dark ruby red. Beautifully integrated nuances on the nose of honey suckle with subtle hints of black cherry and sweet spice. Praline and candied orange peel on the palate with wonderful balance between acidity and alcohol, finished off with lingering spicy fruit and a hint of dark chocolate ganache. Made of Tinta Barocca, Souzao, Pontac, and a blend of Malvasia Rey, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Francisca & Touriga Nacional.

Excellent enjoyed on its own or served with desserts.
About the winery:
Allesverloren is the oldest estate in the Swartland Wine of Origin district. It is renowned for its red wines, highlighting Shiraz and Cabernet. The Allesverloren Fine Old Ruby is a classic fortified wine in South Africa. Danie Malan is the current charismatic owner.
