Dorper Stellenbosch Pinotage 2022

Dry and elegant red wine, made of 100% old vine Pinotage sourced from 2 vineyards planted on granite soils in Helderberg and on shale in Bottelary Hills. 12 months on neutral French oak, which gives subtle wood spice notes. A bouquet of red fruit, fynbos and floral notes, with darker fruits, olive and cranberry following on palate. Fine grained tannins and dry mineral finish. Red meat or spicy Asian style dishes especially when served young. Excellent with lamb when matured. Vegetarian aficionados can serve it with grilled aubergines or portobello mushrooms.

Wildekrans Pinotage 2021

Dry & medium-bodied red wine, 100% Pinotage from cool region Botrivier. Mainly aged on neutral French wood for 13 months. Abundant aromas of blueberries and mulberries, plums and some mocha. Soft, spicy oak, savoury and peppery. Can age for about 5 years. Baked or grilled red meats. Pairs nicely with oriental cuisine, with tempered spiciness and sweet and sour touch, or with chutneys.

Kanonkop Pinotage 2021

Grapes grown on bushvines on the slopes of Simonsberg, up to 67 years of age. Bold aromas of plums & blackberries, with layers of liquorice, smoke, roasted nuts and rich vanilla on the nose. The palate is packed with flavours of plums, black and red cherries, dark chocolate and spicy oak. The integrated and ripe tannins, together with the satisfying acidity, result in a balanced wine with a long finish, promising great maturation potential. Vintage 2021 produced elegant wines with softer tannin structures that will make them accessible and drinkable from an earlier age. Maturation potential of 10 to 15 years from vintage. A fantastic food wine! Red meat or spicy Asian style dishes especially when served young, go for aromatic curries, venison or duck. Excellent with lamb when matured. Vegetarian aficionados can serve it with grilled aubergines or portobello mushrooms.

Hill & Dale Pinotage 2022

Medium-bodied, well-integrated oak. Spicy rich aroma, soft ripe tannins give smooth, long finish with notes of sweet plums. Roasted meat, cheese platters or game. The winemaker loves it with a gourmet burger, game carpaccio or a traditional South African bobotie.
